Ottawa, ON, March 25, 2022 – Romaeris Corporation is pleased to announce that Trans-Plan Inc. of Toronto, Ontario will use the Romaeris eUAV for the launch of its new product, VIEWSTM, planned for 2023. VIEWSTM is a smart cities product that will transform how local governments can understand vehicular movement in their jurisdictions and meet their needs for efficiency and safety on their roads.
“We will collect data aerially for extended periods of time over large areas, and eventually even over entire cities at once, to provide an unprecedented clear and comprehensive picture of traffic movements in cities,” said Shadi Hagag, CEO of TransPlan. “This is a major leap forward compared to the current state-of-the-art in which cities typically receive fragmented information about what happens at specific intersections.”
Using its proprietary software, Trans-Plan will reduce the amount of time required for the back-end processing of traffic data and will be able to provide effective results for municipalities at significantly reduced costs.
