Remote Sensing

The Romaeris eUAV can be configured to carry all types of cameras, gimbals, and other sensor payloads. It can accommodate a wide range of SWAP (size, weight, and power) requirements. It can switch back and forth between various mission configurations by changing the sensor pod bay mounted on the open frame with a clear view below. Battery packs can be added or taken off the fuselage frame depending on flight endurance requirements.

Our proprietary Stability Augmentation System (SAS) improves the stability of the aircraft fuselage during flight. SAS uses mechatronic devices to exploit the pendulum effect of weight-shift control (hinged movement of the wing unit with respect to the fuselage). This feature combined with a good range of possible operating speeds, 40 – 100 Km/h and long loiter times.
